The English 20th century artist Vanessa Bell used colour, form and light to embed great intensity in everyday objects and domestic scenes, rendering them powerful and sometimes magical - an intensity she shared with her sister the writer Viriginia Woolf. But her work has been too readily derided as derivative of European post-Impressionism or merely decorative.
Re-imagine artists from the The Grange and L'Arche found great inspiration, working with Sarah Pimenta from artists and print makers Social Fabric, to make their own abstract silk screen prints on textiles and papers.
